The Kingdom Outreach Initiative is a non-profit (501c3) association that serves to encourage and support community outreach and collaborations through educational programs and events. Some of our initiative are: The Kingdom Outreach Center hosts workshops, seminars, worship services, Bible studies, prayer, study halls and other special events. This blessed facility has a large meeting room, break room and a small conference room, is also open to the community for rental. Members meet 2nd Friday of each month at The Kingdom Outreach Center located at 6001 Lakeside Avenue, Suites 28 and 29, to discuss their selected book; fellowship with friends; and enjoy refreshments. The members read spiritually enlightening books by well known authors such as Elizabeth George, Mia Jones, Joyce Meyer and others, as well as age appropriate books from the Madison Finn, Nancy Drew and Cheetah Girls' series. To celebrate the completion of each series read, the members enjoy quarterly parties: Bowling Party; Pajama Party; Skating Party; Christmas Celebration. 4REAL Book Club - Open to young men ages 9 to 16 years. The members read books that are imaginative, relative and spiritually enlightening books such as The Bluford Series by author Paul Langan. To celebrate the completion of each series read, the members enjoy quarterly parties: Bowling Party; Skating Party; Christmas Celebration. Inspiration Celebrations are sponsored by More Than Conqueror's Productions, and are open to all authors, artists, and musicians. Participants from all over come together in the spirit of fellowship to share their gift as they celebrate and minister through song, spoken word poetry, dance and visual & performing arts. In addition, artists and authors are invited to set up tables and booths to promote their work to the public as well as professionals in their respective industries. Event to be held in November, 2008. The Christian Writer's Institute offers classes, workshops and conferences to help prepare you to go into all the world. These informative, empowering and interactive sessions are designed to offer you education and guidance as you set forth to get your God-inspired work out to the world. Classes include: The Christian Writer 101, The Art of Effective Public Speaking, How to Market and Promote Your Work, and Styles and Techniques of Writing. "Building Future Kings and Queens” The workshops are designed to teach young men and women between the ages of 9 and 16. The workshops will consist of “The art of Public Speaking,” “The Art of Dining Etiquette,” “The Art of Healthy Relationships,” and “The Art of Social Etiquette.” The workshops will take place Monday, July 21st through Thursday, July 24th.
To close out the Kingdom Youth Summer Program, there will be a culminating extravaganza to take place on Friday, July 25th, 2008. Each workshop will be held from 6:30 PM thru 8:30 PM at Kingdom Publishing Group, Inc., located at 6001 Lakeside Avenue, Suites 28 and 29. The Culminating Extravaganza will be held on Friday, July 25th, 2008 from 6 PM thru 9 PM at the Richmond Times Dispatch Hanover Reception Hall, 8720 Times Dispatch Boulevard, Mechanicsville, Virginia.
