August 10, 2007 - Kimmie's Book Club will meet at Barnes and Noble Bookstore located at Libbie Place on Broad St., at 7:00 PM. CLUB PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN.

August 4, 2007 - Come Join Kimmie's Book Club members and the "We're Down With Reading!" campaign at the Hanover Book Festival, VFW Post, 7168 Flag Lane, Mechanicsville, Virginia, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Lots of FUN! FUN!! FUN!!!

June 8, 2007 - Kimmie's Book Club will meet at Barnes and Noble Bookstore located at Libbie Place on Broad St., at 7:00 PM.

June 2, 2007 - Join us and sign up for the "We're Down With Reading!" campaign at the Willow Lawn Book Fair and Festival on Saturday, June 2nd. 

June 1, 2007 - Book Club President, Kimberly "Kimmie" Castleberry, was crowned, "Miss Black Teen Virginia 2007-2008!!! The pageant, sponsored by Sisterly Grace: Dance, Charm & Modeling was held on Friday, June 1st at the Holiday Inn-Central Hotel... Congratulations Kimmie!!! 

~ MAY 2007 NEWS ~

May 8, 2007 - Check out Kimberly "Kimmie" Castleberry on B-Love TV (Comcast Channel 95) at 9:00 PM Kimmie will be sharing information on the Kimmie's Book Club.

May 11, 2007 - Kimmie's Book Club will be meeting at Barnes and Noble Bookstore located at Libbie Place on West Broad St., at 7:00 PM.

The "We're Down With Reading" Campaign kicks off this month!!! The Poster Distribution phase is underway. Businesses, organizations, churches, libraries, schools, etc. are asked to be supporters of the campaign effort to get 1000 or more young people to commit to reading 1 book or more per month over the next year.

~ APRIL 2007 NEWS ~

BOOK CLUB MEMBERS CELEBRATED THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER, AND HAVING READ 3 BOOKS THUS FAR, WITH A BOWLING PARTY AT SUNSET LANES!!! WHAT A JOYOUS TIME WE SHARED!!!

KIMMIE'S BOOK CLUB WELCOMED 7 NEW MEMBERS!!! WOW!!! WE ARE REALLY GROWING! WE NOW HAVE 20 YOUNG LADIES IN THE KIMMIE'S BOOK CLUB!!!
